When lowering your 1963-1972 Chevrolet or GMC Truck there are multiple ways to get the job done. With the early 63-70 trucks, it will be necessary to convert to disc brakes in order to accomplish the best overall drop and ride comfort. Use of the modular spindles will not push out the wheels like other drop spindles do, it will leave your front track width at current position of your 63-70 drum brake truck and if you have a 71-72 it will actually pull in front track width 5/8" from current wheel posistion. These are the components I use when a client wants to lower their truck at our shop, Mac's Garage.
